Terms of Service

1. Your account

Provide an email address you control, protect your password, and use a nickname rather than your real name as your public username. Do not impersonate someone else, share access to evade usage limits, or use another person’s account without permission. Let us know if you believe your account has been compromised.

ScienceHub is intended for people aged 13 and older. Do not create an account or submit personal information if you are under 13. If you are 13–17, review these Terms with your parent or guardian and obtain their permission before creating an account. This requirement does not remove any protections minors have under applicable law.

2. What the service provides

ScienceHub provides study materials, flashcards, practice questions, tests, progress tools, a score estimator, and optional AI assistance where available. Features, subject coverage, and daily limits may change. Free-response practice uses independently authored ScienceHub questions and scoring guides. Optional AI grading provides feedback for study, not an official examination score.

The service is currently free. We will not charge you merely because you have an account or accept these Terms. Any future paid offering would have its price and conditions disclosed before you choose to purchase it.

ScienceHub is a study aid. It does not provide official exam scores, school credit, or a guarantee of admission, grades, or exam results. Score estimates and practice results may differ from actual exam performance.

3. Use the service responsibly

Use ScienceHub for lawful learning and practice. Do not use it to cheat on a live assessment, distribute restricted exam content, harass others, submit unlawful material, infringe others’ rights, or expose another person’s private information.

Do not bypass access controls or request limits, attack the service, introduce malicious code, or use automation that disrupts it. Report a security issue privately to our support email rather than accessing other users’ information.

4. Study materials and outside resources

You may use the materials made available through ScienceHub for your personal study. ScienceHub claims rights only in material it owns; third-party materials, names, and marks belong to their respective owners. A source link is not a transfer of ownership or a license to republish that source.

Where material carries an open license, that license controls your permitted use, including any attribution, sharing, or commercial-use conditions. Nothing here limits fair use, public-domain rights, or other rights provided by law. Otherwise, ask permission before redistributing ScienceHub’s materials or using them commercially.

External links and tools are provided for convenience. Their availability, content, and terms are controlled by their providers. If you believe material on ScienceHub infringes your rights, email the page address, identify the material and your rights, and provide a way to contact you.

5. Your submissions and AI assistance

You retain any rights you have in answers, feedback, and other material you submit. You give us permission to process, store, and display those submissions only as needed to provide the features you use, maintain the service, and respond to support requests, as described in the Privacy policy. This is not a transfer of ownership.

When you request an AI feature, relevant questions, responses, and context may be sent to our AI provider. AI can produce inaccurate explanations, calculations, or feedback. Check important answers against your course materials or a teacher. Do not submit sensitive personal information or material you do not have permission to use.

Do not paste, upload, or otherwise submit College Board copyrighted questions, answer keys, or restricted exam materials to ScienceHub’s AI features. These Terms do not grant permission to use such material.

6. Privacy and public profiles

Our Privacy policy explains account information, saved learning activity, service providers, retention, and deletion requests. Leaderboard participation is off by default. Your chosen username, optional profile picture, XP, and leaderboard placement are shown to other signed-in members only if you opt in. You can leave in profile settings without losing XP or study progress. Your account email is not displayed on the leaderboard. Avoid including personal information in your public profile.

We record the Terms version and time of your signup agreement with your account. Acknowledging the Privacy policy is not permission for unrelated marketing or uses of your information that the policy does not describe.

7. Availability, errors, and your legal rights

We aim to keep ScienceHub useful and available, but materials can contain errors, and the service may be interrupted for maintenance, outages, or changes. Keep your own copy of work you cannot afford to lose and report errors through the website or support email.

To the extent permitted by law, the service is provided “as is” and “as available,” without a promise that it will be uninterrupted, error-free, or suitable for every purpose. Nothing in these Terms excludes rights or remedies that cannot lawfully be excluded, or excuses fraud, willful misconduct, or other liability that applicable law does not allow us to limit.

8. Leaving, suspension, and deletion

You may stop using ScienceHub at any time and request account deletion at sciencehubstudy@gmail.com. We may need to verify that you control the account. Deletion and any limited retention are described in the Privacy policy.

We may restrict or suspend access for a material violation of these Terms, abuse, a security risk, or a legal requirement. Where practical, we will explain the reason and give you a way to contact us about a mistake. Urgent safety or security issues may require action first.

9. Changes to these Terms

We will identify revisions with an updated date. For material changes, we will provide a prominent notice and seek renewed agreement when required. We will not treat an old signup agreement as acceptance of materially different terms or new uses of personal information. If you do not agree to a proposed change, you can stop using the affected features and request deletion.

These Terms do not require arbitration or waive your right to bring a claim in court. If a provision cannot be enforced, the remaining provisions continue only to the extent permitted by law.
